FABRIZIO BOSSO: You've Changed

FABRIZIO BOSSO

ALBUM REVIEW
We say the truth, we are in a period when most of the latest products on the jazz is not up to expectations and then when you find yourself having to talk about how this disc can not do a great pleasure. Fabrizio Bosso, talent torinese now projected nell'olimpo of large, gives us a splendid work that combines emotion and music at the highest level. Examination busy recording with an orchestra is passed with flying colors, thanks to a fit involving Paolo Silvestri, the Bim String Orchestra, the musicians of all time exposures, as Lussu, Bulgarelli and Tucci and some great friends who have given the final touch of prestige to a disk that is candid ever to be one of the best of 2007. Trumpeter this time left by his energetic sound and the melody goes to work in symbiosis with the arches and even the choice of songs you understand his need for an "emotional". It speaks only of great classics, from the Italians, like "Without End", where the duet with the soprano sax of the Baptist in "Summer", read very well by Sergio Cammariere, who collaborated with for years,
in Brazil, as " Summer Samba "and" Rio de Majo, 'where is the valuable contribution of Bebo Ferra guitar, and percussionist Bruno Marcozzi at ease with the rhythms of South America. But two stand out on all the pearls: "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" with a shiver from the Bosso and the masterful touch of class to Peter Lussu and finally the title track, then again only in instrumental version, where the voice soars, hot, Diane Reeves. An elegant and exciting disc, evidence of a mature artist who has for a decade is a spearhead of our jazz scene and is certainly ready for the big leap internationally.

Gilberto.
