HOJE É DIA DO MEU ANIVERSÁRIO... - (CB's BIRTHDAY )

HOJE, domingo, 13 de abril é meu aniversário. Como "descanso carregando pedras", consegui acertar minha agenda profissional, conciliando trabalho e lazer, para que pudesse comemorar do mesmo jeito que já fiz algumas vezes em anos passados, ou seja: VENDO/OUVINDO a banda de CHICO O'FARRIL no BIRDLAND, onde logo à noite estarei
bebendo tantas taças de champanhe quantas couberem e assistindo à maior banda de "latin-jazz" do planeta. Vou permanecer aqui em NY por cerca de uma semana, trabalhando. Mas, como ninguém é de ferro, vou aproveitar prá botar a programação de Jazz e "Latin Jazz" em dia. Difícil vai ser decidir onde ir, tendo em vista a variada
programação disponível. Bom domingo para todos.

Hi guys! At the present moment I'm in New York. Today is my birthday. I will celebrate at THE BIRDLAND (the jazz corner of the world), where the CHICO O'FARRIL LATIN JAZZ BAND perfoms every Sunday night. I hope meeting some old friends such as Juan "Papo" Vazques, (trombone), Michael Phillip Mossmann, (trumpet) Andy Gonzalez, (bass) and the pianist and band-leader Arturo O'Farril, Chico's son, who preserves the memory of his beloved father, keeping the Band alive. I'm supposed to remain in New York the whole week and there's a lot of Jazz and "Latin Jazz" to see and listen to, in different venues. Where to go is a very hard choice to make...only one week in New York City is not enough. Have yourselves a happy Sunday.
